Insurance Partner Group LLC (“IPG,” “we,” “us”) is an independent insurance agency based in Plano, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through ipg.team and in the course of serving you, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — when you request a quote, submit a service request, or contact us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email, business details, policy information, and any documents you choose to upload (such as declaration pages or an employee census).
- Client portal information — if IPG sets up a portal login for you, we maintain your login email and records of portal activity (such as certificates you issue and changes you request) as part of servicing your account.
- Basic technical information — like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To prepare insurance quotes and place coverage with insurance carriers on your behalf.
- To service your policies — certificates of insurance, policy changes, claims assistance, renewals, and billing questions.
- To respond when you contact us, and to communicate about your coverage.
What we share — and what we don’t
We share your information only as needed to serve you: with the insurance carriers and wholesalers we quote and place coverage through, and with the service providers that run our agency systems (such as our agency management system, website hosting, and secure login provider). These companies receive only what they need to do their job.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How we protect it
As an insurance agency, we maintain safeguards designed to protect customer information consistent with federal and state privacy requirements for financial institutions (including the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act). Portal access is protected by individual logins, document links are time-limited, and sensitive account activity is logged.
Your choices
- You can ask us at any time what information we have on file for you, or ask us to correct it.
- You can ask us to remove a portal login or close your file, subject to records we’re required to keep for insurance and legal purposes.
